Andrew Garfield
Currently risking a slight overexposure, Mr. Garfield has recently played significant roles in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (don't see it), and Boy A
(see it!), and is currently doing excellent work in both The Social Network and (I've heard) in the film version of Never Let Me Go. He will also shortly be filling Tobey Maguire's shoes as the new Spider-Man, a development in which I have no interest whatsoever.

Coming right off his breakout performance as Eduardo Saverin in David Fincher’s *The Social Network* and preparing to step into the iconic suit for Marc Webb's *The Amazing Spider-Man*, 2010 was truly the launchpad of his phenomenal Hollywood career. When streaming high-bitrate actor interviews, film festival retrospectives, or superhero trailer breakdowns on mobile devices, unexpected video buffering can interrupt your viewing. ReplyDeleteAndrew Garfield was already building an interesting filmography around this period, and it is nice to see how his earlier roles helped establish him as more than just a superhero actor. His performance in The Social Network especially showed a quieter and more thoughtful side of his acting. Looking back at these older posts is also interesting because you can see how different his career looked before Spider-Man became such a major part of it. I enjoy reading film discussions like this, and when I want something different afterward, I sometimes browse Offical Eespacio APK during my free time.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this short appreciation of Andrew Garfield because it captures an interesting moment in his career, just before he became widely known as Spider-Man. His work in films such as Boy A and The Social Network showed that he had a lot of range and could handle very different kinds of characters. It is always interesting to revisit an actor’s earlier work after their career has developed so much further. After reading posts about films and actors from that era, I sometimes check Download Magis TV when I am looking for something casual to watch.
