  1. You included Zero Dark Thirty in the same section as a Nicholas Sparks film. I have no words.

Also, I don't know why you don't love The Sessions. So. Good.

    1. Haha. I did not. I really liked ZDT. Nicholas Sparks is much lower on the list, silly.

And as for The Sessions, no thanks. I appreciated its sex-positivity, but I did not really understand the journeys of the characters. The whole thing felt contrived and odd to me. I loved the part where Helen Hunt converted, and I loved her performance, but the movie's tone irritated me - the clowning, I mean. I thought it clashed with the movie's more serious moments in a really strange way.

    2. omg, I'm obviously sleep-deprived. I swear they were in the same category!!

Hmm. Interesting about The Sessions. I liked the humor because I appreciated that was his way of staying positive in his situation. I don't know, I just thought everything about it was lovely. I laughed, I cried... It was the best surprise of the year for me -- I really wasn't expecting to like it at all.

    3. And I just saw that SLP is above ZDT. I'm back to being angry at you.

    4. HAHAHA. I really liked SLP and really liked ZDT. I know you loved it, but I was less excited about it than you were. To be fair, my sister, with whom I saw both films, also told me I was out of my mind.
