A family screaming at one another for 90 minutes. Why? Vincent Cassel yells well, and I liked him, but otherwise I don't understand this film. Sometimes this happens with Xavier Dolan, and I feel like the movie is just people shrieking at each other (that Laurence Anyways was exactly like this, although this one was mercifully about an hour shorter than Laurence).I love this cast: Gaspard Ulliel, Nathalie Baye, Léa Seydoux, Marion Cotillard, Vincent Cassel. But what is this movie other than yelling? I have no interest in this kind of nonsense. It's like a bad play. No thanks.
Maybe Dolan is processing something, but I'm bored.
