Solo was cute. I think it was maybe a little
too cute. And
Solo is way more of a dependent film than
Rogue One was. I'm sure there were tons of references in this movie to the first trilogy, but I don't know those films well enough to get the in-joking. Still, Alden Ehrenreich remains a dynamic performer, and there were some
very exciting setpieces in this movie. (That train sequence was amazing!) I liked a lot of it.
