The description of this movie makes it seem like it's gonna be some kind of Hallmark nonsense. But no.
Lean on Pete is one of the best movies of the year. Andrew Haigh has done it again. This is an excellent film. It is a movie about care and lack of care in today's society, and it is an odyssey film about a homeless teenager and an old, lame horse. And it is deeply, deeply moving. I loved it.
