Cold War is beautifully made, spare, exacting, and sad. But I didn't emotionally connect to the two main characters the way I wanted to, and this meant I didn't connect to the film quite as I would have liked to. In many ways,
Cold War is a kind of melodrama about Poland under Stalin, but I'm not sure
Cold War has much to say about the political situation. The acting is great, though. Both leads are fantastic. And the film's music is unforgettable.
